Being a Means of Grace There is a saying used by some that says, “the End, justifies the Means”. I do not know what all is meant by that statement, especially as it is used in various situations, but if the End you desire is- imparted grace towards another human being, then you being the ‘means’, by which that grace is imparted, seems very justifiable. Jesus Christ, was sent by God the Father of all Creation, into this world to be The Means of Grace to all who are lost in sin and departed from the fellowship of God.   When he lay down his life sacrificially for all who believe in Him, Jesus clearly passed on his work to those who followed after. “Go out into all the world” was his disciple’s first commission, and ever since, recipients of his grace, have been busy sharing that grace with others. Being Gay and Amish Though the Old Order Amish church has historically maintained a strict difference between its cultural religious society and the rest of the world, it members are created human beings with all the same inherent traits of humans living in the larger society. Social desires for love and companionship and familial bonds are just as evident amongst Amish people as they are in existence among Non-Amish people. Human character traits and capacities for thought, work, learning, and achievement all exist along with common human vices like greed, malice, ignorance and procrastination. In North America, there is a created sense of wonder and nostalgic euphoria regarding the Amish because of their dress and manner of living connected with common ideals of family and home life. Old Glory Restored Methinks I hear some say today That reasons good there are for aye To bring back the Crown from far away Our Sovereign’s Grace, new homage pay Tis True that voices this wish do give A pleasant seeming sound, Yea, but reason why they choose to live Again ‘neath English Crown?
