What if Germany used this Flag? I think it an interesting thought that over the years, a Nordic Cross as style flag has been suggested for use many times as the official flag. True that Germany has had its difficulties in the past, but wouldn't this design better help it identify with some good qualities and healthy neighbouring countries? If Scandinavia is seen as the historical origin of the Germanic people's of Europe and the linguistic, socio-cultural and historical connections are to be recognized, why not adopt a flag pattern more in keeping with this group of nations?
