Living Love

Living Love

O Great Creator, Thou hast made
Our bodies from the clay
Help us mindful of whence we’ve come,
Live right and good each day.

Once Thou didst flood the earth so deep
Washing from sins dread frown
Then rainbow bright did dry the land
Framing its waters bounds.

A People called out as Thine own
Did Jacob come to be
Jesus Thy Son in David’s town
Died loving on a tree.

Come Passover’s morn from grave deep
Thy Son triumphant rose
O’er Death’s cold power He victory won
Satan’s dark night did close.

Now Christians everywhere do tell
Of Christ’s amazing love
How faith in Him can save from Hell
And ransomed dwell above.
Oh sober let us be in truth
God’s love for us to see
And living kindly more each day
Good neighbours we will be
